So yesterday it hit me in the face that I can't seem to draw females anymore. I was working on *Dinalfos5's request of the Kokawa Beach Scene, which has Kairi and Lilo in the foreground. And the more I tried to make them look feminine, the worse it got.
Therefore I put it down...
Today I tried to draw again. Failed, got pissed off. Nothing felt like it was going right today. (or, yesterday since it's almost 2:30 a.m. ._. ) Homework, artwork, cooking (yeah, I failed at cooking. I burnt the HELL out of my hand...damn pot holder was supposed to be considerably thicker!), and so on. NOTHING was going right.
Very upset, I got out a clean sheet of paper and started to draw, deciding just to draw whatever the hell came to mind. The image of a Jester came to me, and I recalled an aunt of mine requested I draw something for her ages ago, and she is fond of jesters.
I drew out a basic outline, still in an utterly terrible mood. However, my mood was lightened as the picture started to turn out rather nicely...
DON'T ASK ABOUT THE POINTE SHOES. I don't even know. It was just the image that came to mind, so I went with it!
And yes, she has waaaaay too much ribbon in her pointe shoes. But it was for added decoration or something. xD
The skirt thing...well, was a fail. I think I'll erase the half that is drawn and do something better with it.
Anyhoo, this turned out to be a "two birds with one stone" deal: I'm working on female anatomy again for *Dinalfos5's request, but drawing a long-awaited picture for my beloved aunt at the same time! So I'm STILL being productive.
(Jeremy, I'm quite sorry, but my females really need some work. Kairi and Lilo looked like boys...albeit boys with boobs. ._. Anyway, it wasn't right, so I decided to work on it a bit.)
I've requested critiques on this because...well, I want critiques before I go finishing it. xD But please, don't be an ass about things. There is a way to critique a person's work TACTFULLY.
